Aptly named Environmentally Sound

Our engineering services are related to both the natural environment and man-made environments, where equipment or designs must withstand or blend in with the immediate surroundings, i.e. environment.

The name was coined when performing environmental testing of equipment and machinery destined for aircraft. This involved design improvements to meet the demands of stringent environmental testing for certification.

The environmental testing was conducted in accordance to RTCA/DO-160* and Mil-Std-810* with reference to vibration, shock, altitude, temperature, sand and dust, water proofness, fungus etc. and also noise - a product of vibration.

It's 15 years of this experience on which Environmentally Sound limited is established, as it's now almost 30 years of knowledge and expertise acquired that is an asset to our customers, as not all of the designs and components can be analysed accurately with software.

Therefore, experience and expertise in designing for a particular operational environments with several environmental elements yields environmentally sound designs.
